3. Tajweed Rules

Curriculum for our Online Quran Classes for Adults

A. Arabic Alphabet Pronunciation

You’ll learn the Arabic alphabet and how to pronounce each letter correctly, focusing on Makhraj and sifah of each letter. We’ll also practice correctly pronouncing the Isti’adha and Basmalah, which are key to proper recitation. B. Qalqalah and Madd

You’ll learn the basics of Tajweed rules. You’ll learn Qalqalah, the correct pronunciation of certain consonants that require vibration at the point of articulation. You’ll also learn Madd, the prolongation of the sound of certain letters, which adds beauty and precision to your recitation.

C. Word Formation

The course will focus on connecting letters to form words and the rules of noon saakinah and tanween, which are essential for ensuring smooth and beautiful recitation. Additionally, you will master the rules of meem saakinah, learning how to pronounce it correctly when combined with other letters, thus maintaining fluency and accuracy in your recitation.

D. Advanced Tajweed Rules

You will learn advanced Tajweed rules essential for improving your recitation. We will focus on lam shamsiyyah and qamariyyah, enabling you to distinguish between them correctly in pronunciation. Three Levels of Online Quran Classes for Adults

1. Beginner Level

We focus on identifying the Arabic letters and pronouncing them correctly and skillfully, and then learning the basic rules of Tajweed, which serve as an introduction to correct reciting.

2. Intermediate Level

We concentrate on reading the Quranic words, and then the student begins to recite the Quranic verses smoothly and correctly, which qualifies him to read a short surah in full fluency.

3. Advanced Level
